I'm Professor at the Department of Physical Chemistry and at the Chemical Engineering Graduate Program of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).

I am graduated in Chemical Engineering (State University of Maringá, 2005), PhD in Chemical Engineering (COPPE / Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, 2008), and did a post-doc at the  University of California, Riverside (United States, 2009). I Have experience in Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Density Functional Theory, interfacial phenomena and numerical methods applied to Chemical Engineering, acting on the following topics: modeling of colloidal systems, Poisson-Boltzmann equation, Hofmeister effects (ion specificity), interfacial phenomena, electrochemistry,  polymer brush coatings, phase equilibria and optimization.
